With reference to the concluding paragraph of our letter of the 15th October last relative to the supply of Portland Cement for the Praya Reclamation in Hong Kong, I have the honour to forward a copy of a report by Sir John Coode on the quality of the Cement manufactured by Green Island Cement Company.
He states that the cement is of good quality and recommends that a trial be made.
